Dr. Kuan is an experienced management consultant and accredited HRD Corp trainer with 30+ years across multinationals — as General Manager, Country Manager, Head of Sales and Division Manager with Schneider Electric, Schutz, Jungheinrich and Munters. A trained engineer turned subject-matter expert, he blends technical depth with strategic business insight.
He holds a Doctor of Business Administration (UUM) and an MBA (University of East London), with published research in international peer-reviewed journals. Fund the training with your HRDC levy
Package C (3-day training) is delivered by our TTT-certified trainer and is claimable under the HRD Corp Claimable Courses scheme (course code C001-ID4-M100). Submit your grant application on eTRiS at least 14 days before training starts (since 15 June 2026 HRD Corp requires the grant to be APPROVED 14 days ahead, so apply about 21 days early). Packages A and B are consulting engagements (self-funded).

- ›You are a public-listed company already reporting under Bursa. This program is scoped for SMEs moving from awareness to a first Sustainability Report. If you are already in a listing-rule disclosure cycle, you need a different engagement.
- ›You only need a one-hour awareness briefing. Package A is a consulting engagement with a report deliverable. For a short board briefing, tell us — we will scope something smaller rather than sell you more than you need.
- ›No data and nobody to own it. The deliverable is a Sustainability Report that has to be maintained afterwards. Without an owner inside the company, the report becomes a one-off document instead of a capability.

Is the ESG program HRD Corp claimable?+
Package C (3-day training) is HRD Corp claimable for eligible employers. Packages A and B are consulting engagements and are self-funded.
What are the packages and prices?+
Package A: RM16,800 (consulting, 1 day, for SMEs under 10 employees). Package B: RM23,800 (consulting, 2 days). Package C: RM28,800 (training, 3 days, HRD Corp claimable).
What do we get at the end?+

Is ESG only for large or listed companies?+
No. SMEs are increasingly required to provide ESG information and a Sustainability Report by their larger customers, banks and supply-chain partners.
